Batman Sketch

Ran in to some old Batman books and figured it was time to draw my own version. It's not in the ball park of Alex Ross but hopefully it was a valiant attempt.

Drawing with shapes, numbers and letters.

This was a refined drawing using mostly shapes, letters and numbers. This was used to emphasize how basic drawing skills and shape recognition are the starting points in all design and artistic endeavors. The head is an upside down "U", the chest and pants are rectangles, the ears are a manipulated "C."

Finished yet another sketchbook. Time to run to the store...I should really buy in bulk. When will I ever learn.
